AURORA VORSURA 1.0

Aurora Vorsura is a series of kinetic light installation developed as an experiment and exploration about depth and optical illusion. The use of lenticular sheet creates illusion of depth and distorts the shape of the dichroic foil inside, while capturing the colours and reflections from the foil, generating images that change or move as viewed from different angles.

In the first version, the mirror on the back of the installation creates more depth to the installation. The combination with lenticular sheet resulted double reflections which questions the seeing of the viewer.

It was part of an exhibition with Rianne Douven, a dutch painter, at Das Giftraum, Berlin in November 2019.
